Description
This medicine is a corticosteroid (medicines that help in reducing pain, swelling and irritation of the affected part). Budecort Inhaler reduces swelling and irritation in your lungs. It is used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and is not indicated in the treatment of an ongoing asthma attack.
How To Take
Budecort Inhaler should be used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. For the ease of remembering, use it around the same time every day. Even if you see an improvement in your condition, do not stop taking it. If you discontinue the use of this medicine early, your symptoms may return or worsen.
Precaution
Budecort Inhaler may cause some side effects like thrush (a fungal infection), sore throat, cough and hoarse voice. Inform your doctor if the side effects become severe or persist for a long time. Budecort Inhaler may interact with the action of other medicines like steroids. Inform your doctor about any other health issues like liver, kidney, heart troubles or if you are undergoing any medical treatment before taking this medicine. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
