Description
A higher dose of 2.5mg and 5mg is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia in men. The lower dose of 1mg is used in the treatment of hereditary hair loss in men, also called male-pattern baldness. Fincar 5 mg Tablet works by blocking the production of a chemical substance in the body that causes hair loss and enlargement of the prostate gland (a walnut-sized gland that surrounds the top portion of the tube that drains urine from the bladder).
How To Take
Fincar 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food as instructed by your doctor. Take this medicine at the same time every day for the ease of remembering and better results. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Avoid discontinuing this medicine without consulting your doctor.
Precaution
Fincar 5 mg Tablet may cause side effects like dizziness, abnormal ejaculation, low sexual desire, depression, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects bother you for a longer time or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.
